For rooms that call for a statement skirting, the Derby delivers a decorative traditional profile with plenty of presence.

It is available in 18mm and 25mm thicknesses, with heights from 94mm up to a substantial 294mm, and supplied in 3050mm and 4200mm lengths for high-ceilinged and period spaces. A matching Derby architrave completes the look around doors.

Manufactured from moisture-resistant MDF, every board is sanded between priming coats to ensure a consistent, smooth finish. Our water-based primer is applied in a vacuum coater for even coverage across the board — a standard older methods such as hand spraying cannot consistently reach — so each length arrives fully sealed and ready to paint. All our MDF is sourced from environmentally responsible, FSC® Certified suppliers (FSC C109654).

Unprimed

Your Skirting board / Architrave order will be delivered in its raw state, sanded and unprimed ready for on-site application. PLEASE NOTE all items in our next day range are supplied pre-primed, unprimed option is not available for these products.

Primed

Your Skirting board / Architrave order will be sanded and primed twice and will be delivered ready for final undercoat and top coat on site. Having your order supplied pre-primed will save you a lot of time and is very cost-effective. Most of our products are ready for final coat on site however on some of the deeper cut profiles a light sanding and undercoat may be required prior to finishing coat.

No rebate

Your Skirting Board order will be supplied with a square back to sit snug against the wall.

Rebate

Ideal for hiding wires, cable and small pipes, our rebate option is available on all skirting boards, the rebate is cut 10mm x 30mm on the back of the board.
