Delivery Information

We know how important it is to receive your order on time, especially when planning home improvements or coordinating with tradespeople. That’s why we provide a range of flexible delivery options designed to fit around your schedule. You can select the option that best suits you during the checkout process.

Delivery charges are automatically calculated at checkout based on the total weight and destination of your order.

Please note: We currently do not deliver to Northern Ireland.

 

Next Day Range Deliveries

Next Day Range Delivery - order by 10am to receive goods with next day delivery*

Order by 10:00am (Monday–Thursday) to receive your goods on the next working day*.
Orders placed after 10:00am or on weekends or public holidays will be processed the next working day.

 

Dispatch Schedule

Orders placed before 10:00am on weekdays are usually dispatched the same day for next working day delivery*.
Orders placed on Fridays will normally be delivered on the following Tuesday.

We use a 24-hour courier service for next day shipments; however, as this service is operated by a third party, we cannot guarantee delivery times. While we always aim to meet advertised delivery windows, occasional delays may occur due to courier or network issues beyond our control.

Important Notice

We strongly recommend that customers do not schedule fitters, tradespeople, or other work until their order has been delivered and checked.
We cannot accept liability for any costs, losses, or inconvenience resulting from delayed or failed deliveries.

Customers wishing to cancel their order due to a delay are free to do so.

 

Delivery Area Restrictions

Next day delivery is available to most UK mainland addresses, but some areas are excluded or may require additional transit time. Orders with delivery addresses in the following postcode areas cannot be guaranteed next day and may either be delayed or cancelled:

 

KW, HS, IV, AB, DD, PH, PA, FK, KY, G, EH, ZE, MC, KA, TD, DG, IM, GY, JE, TR, EX, PL, TQ, BT, ML

 

All deliveries are subject to stock availability.

While we make every effort to meet the advertised delivery schedules, unforeseen circumstances such as courier delays, weather conditions, or stock availability may occasionally affect delivery times. Standard and Free Delivery Options

Standard Delivery – 3-5 working days (Delivery slot 8:00 – 18:00)

Available to all UK mainland addresses. With this service, you may request a preferred weekday delivery date (excluding weekends and bank holidays) using the message box at checkout. If you do request a specific delivery date but we are unable to meet it, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange an alternative convenient date and time. Orders placed for standard delivery will be processed the same working day if received before 12:00 (midday). Orders placed after 12:00 will be processed on the next working day. Please allow a minimum of 3 working days for delivery, excluding one processing day from the date your order is placed.

 

If no preference is provided, your order will automatically be scheduled for delivery within 3–5 working days. A confirmation email will be sent once your delivery date is arranged. Delivery dates can be postponed up to 24 hours before the scheduled dispatch.

We aim to meet all chosen delivery dates where possible. In the unlikely event that this cannot be achieved, a member of our customer service team will contact you to arrange an alternative convenient date and time.

 

We strongly advise customers not to book fitters or decorators until their skirting boards have been received and inspected in full.

 

Delivery Limitations and Liability:

 

  • Deliveries are fulfilled using a third-party courier.
  • While we dispatch goods in accordance with the advertised delivery timeframe, we cannot guarantee delivery on the exact date or within the specified timeframe.
  • We accept no liability for delays or failure to deliver within the estimated delivery period.
  • Any delivery times provided are estimates only and may be subject to change due to circumstances beyond our control, including courier delays, adverse weather, or other unforeseen events.

 

Free standard delivery is available on orders over £300 (including VAT).

 

 

Express Delivery – 1-2 working days (Delivery slot 8:00 – 18:00)

 

Express delivery is available to all UK mainland addresses (excluding Northern Ireland). Deliveries are made between 08:00 and 18:00.

 

Orders placed for express delivery will be processed the same working day if received before 12:00 (midday). Orders placed after 12:00 will be processed on the next working day. Delivery will then be scheduled 1-2 working days from the processing day.

You may request a preferred weekday delivery date (excluding weekends and bank holidays) by providing this in the message box at checkout. If no preferred delivery date is provided, your order will automatically be scheduled for delivery within 1-2 working days. A confirmation email will be sent once your delivery date has been scheduled. Delivery dates can be adjusted up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery. If you do request a specific delivery date but we are unable to meet it, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange an alternative convenient date and time.

 

Important: Customers should not book any installation or fitting services (for example, skirting board installation) until they have received delivery and confirmed that the order is complete and satisfactory.

 

Saturday Deliveries

  • Saturday deliveries are an expedited delivery service.

  • Saturday deliveries are scheduled to be completed before 12:00 midday.

  • Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by factors outside of our control, including courier delays.

  • Where a Saturday delivery is attempted but completed later than midday due to courier-related issues, this will be treated in line with our expedited delivery downgrade and refund policy.

We do not deliver to Northern Ireland.

 

 

Delivery Method

  • Deliveries are ground floor, curbside, one-man only. Large items may require assistance to unload.
  • Delivered by our fleet or selected third-party couriers.
  • Customers must inform us of any access restrictions, obstacles, or vehicle limitations prior to delivery.

 

Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers must be present at the delivery address on the agreed date.
  • If absent, goods may either:
    1. Be left in a safe place (at the customer’s risk), or
    2. Returned to the depot for re-delivery (re-delivery fees apply).
  • Instructions for leaving goods safely must be communicated to the sales office or noted at order placement.
  • Any re-delivery charges will be the responsibility of the customer.

 

Checking and Signing for Orders

  • All deliveries must be checked for damage or shortages before signing.
  • Note any damage or shortages on the delivery paperwork and contact 0333 366 0082 immediately.
  • Provide photos of damaged goods for faster resolution.
  • Claims for damage or shortages are only accepted within 48 hours.
  • Deliveries without a signature are at the customer’s risk; claims cannot be processed without a signed POD.

 

Third-Party Courier Disclaimer

  • We dispatch goods according to advertised schedules but cannot guarantee exact delivery times.
  • We accept no liability for delays, damage, or loss caused by couriers, weather, traffic, or unforeseen events.
  • POD disputes or non-delivery claims must be emailed to sales@myskirtingboards.co.uk, which will be forwarded to the courier for investigation.

 

Coverage and Limitations

  • Delivery covers approximately 90% of the UK mainland; Northern Ireland is excluded.
  • Some remote or specific postcode areas may experience longer delivery times or be ineligible for express delivery.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring the delivery address is accessible and someone is available to receive the goods.

 

Liability

  • We are not liable for delays, damages, or loss caused by third-party couriers.
  • We are not responsible for any installation or fitting costs due to delivery delays, missing items, or damages.
  • Any goods left without signature or safe place instructions are at the customer’s risk.
